IMG_0490“Teaching is an avocation for me, not just a career choice.  I love to read, travel, garden, and sing.  I enjoy attending movies, the theater, opera and even a few rock concerts.  I also enjoy following the Padres and Chargers.  I am married to a city planner and have two children who graduated from San Diego High School.  One is an attorney and the other is a musician.  I can personally attest to the high quality programs available in San Diego City Schools.  I am especially excited about our G.A.T.E. program here at McKinley and how we are integrating it with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program.”

Ms. Rose-Weber is an outstanding teacher, and her teaching is amazing. I had her for third grade, and I will always remember her. Now and then I visit her when McKinley ends and see how she is doing. She’s a teacher I’ll never forget.
