McKinley Celebrates 2012 Cinco de Mayo
Join our McKinley families and North Park community on Friday, May 4th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm in the school auditorium to enjoy dinner and live entertainment. We will be serving homemade Mexican food made by McKinley parents.
During and after dinner, enjoy live performances from Mariachis and our McKinley students doing traditional Mexican and American folk dancing.
Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of Mexico over the French army at the battle of Puebla in 1862. This has become a very popular celebration in the United States. Come help us celebrate Hispanic Culture and History and our school community.
