Volunteers are paramount to the success of all the PTC events and activities, and there are many ways in which you can be involved. You can join a specific committee and help all year long, or volunteer to help for specific events during the year. Whatever your interests, you’ll find an opportunity to help
Listed below is a summary of the volunteer needs for our PTC committee. If you’re interested in joining a specific committee, please contact one of the co-chairs for that committee. There is something for every interest. Email the PTC to volunteer.
- Community Outreach Co-Chair – This committee handles McKinley outreach to the broader community. Help with outreach materials and event.
- English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) Co-Chair – The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) advises the principal and school staff on programs and services for English Learners.
- Event Support – We will need event support for all of our events this year which will include everything from passing out fliers, soliciting for donations to setting up and tearing down. These opportunities will be posted on our website as the events approach.
