Volunteers are paramount to the success of all the PTC events and activities, and there are many ways in which you can be involved. You can join a specific committee and help all year long, or volunteer to help for specific events during the year. Whatever your interests, you’ll find an opportunity to help
Listed below is a summary of the volunteer needs for each PTC committee. If you’re interested in joining a specific committee, please contact one of the co-chairs for that committee. There is something for every interest.
Communications & Technology Committee
* Translator for newsletters, which are sent twice a month
Community Outreach Committee
* Newsletter/news update coordinator
* Marketing subcommittee chair
* Parent tour coordinator
* Walkabout coordinator
Educational Support Committee
* Outreach to community groups
* Assist with mentorship trainings/support/evaluations
* Help coordinate
* Walkabout coordinator
English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
* Committee membership
* Assistance with events throughout the year
Facilities and Beautification Committee
* Attend meetings on behalf of the committee
* Assist with community support
* Help coordinate or attend meetings at the school district
* Liaison with the student council, keeping them in the loop
Fundraising Committee
* Event Chair, event coordinator, or event team member for an event — to see the complete list of events click here
* Run the monthly Parents Night Out concept ($20/per kid with teachers sitting)
* Head the greeting card program
* Catering or food prep for events
* New initiative leader, new event leader
* Fundraiser, marketer, prospect database manager
* Grant writer; grant writing research or support
